    1. Why is the United States of America being destroyed from
within by the very officials we expect to protect her from
    destruction ?
    2. Why is our Constitution, the Law of our Land, being defiled
by elected officials who swore to uphold this same Constitution ?
    3. Why are no elected officials standing to defend the Consti-
tution they swore to protect fron foreign enemies and
    domestic traitors ?
    4. Why are the Laws of our land flagrantly disobeyed by
    elected officials ?
    5. Why is our 'Bill of Rights' trashed by elected officials at all levels of government ?
    6. Why is the 2nd Amendment declaring our God given right to own an bear arms being denied, suborned and infringed by
elected officials sworn to protect and defend all citizens rights?
    7. Why are American citizens allowing elected officials to
criminally harm American citizens without demanding that this
    lawlessness be stopped ?
    8. Why is a supposedly FREE people allowing criminals disgui-
sed as Congressmen to murder, rob, rule and disarm them ?
    9. Why are no decent, fearless, strong, assertive men and
women standing on every street corner and church and every highway and byway to loudly condemn the corrupt, immoral,
illegal practices of the present government ?
    10. Why are we tolerating the abuses of our FREEDOMS ?

    question number 11
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why do people persist in using extremely inflammatory arguments such as those above, with the sole intent of being inflammatory?

All that does is fuel the argument that only whacko extremists can protest the state of our obviously troubled government affairs.

I am certainly not going to get behind any rhetoric from Alex Jones. Even if all of his "insider info." were true, any credibility is destroyed by his flamboyantly alarmist presentation.

And if they do muster up enough energy to get out and vote, they don't know enough about the issues to make a reasonable vote. A lot of the voters base their decisions on pure emotion and not what they would truly believe if they actually understood the issues.

I can't remember the numbers but there was a poll done last election asking women what percentage of them vote for a candidate stickly due to looks. The number was staggering.

    So blame it on ourselves.

And how many of the ones who do get out and vote are influenced by the media who are not news reporters but opinion reformers.

And what really pisses me off is when somebody votes for candidates based SOLELY on the endorsements of a group, like a union or professional group. Before the election, I got a list of candidate endorsements from the National Society of Professional Engineers, telling me who I should vote for. It's fine and dandy to tell me why they think these are good candidates for their cause (or any cause, such as NRA). But too many people just take that list and vote for whoever is there. They don't think for themselves.

and what's worst of all, is that they are all "talking heads"... telling (who will listen) what they want to hear.

Let's educate ourselves and others with the facts.

    With any candidate...

What is the individuals track record?

    take GW for example...

    (ya'll fill in the blank)

I don't know what all the commotion is about.
Every school kid knows that we have no personal responsibility and
any consequences of our actions are not our fault.
Every mental aberration we can come up with is really a disease.
I know one kid who has "Daddy Kicked My Butt" disease. So he's
dealing with his anger by shooting up. I have a cousin who inadvertently
used a rest room in a bar and caught alcoholism.
When people relearn what we once new, that actions and inactions have
consequences and that those consequences are each of our personal
responsibility then maybe we can climb out of this hole we dug.
People tend to vote self interest and ignore the long term effect.
The best but far from the only evidence of this is the welfare vote.
Legal vote purchasing at its finest.
Where the Bush bashers are concerned: I agree we should have elected Gore.
He'd definitely keep us out of a war in the middle east. By now he would have
paid reparations to the terrorists who we killed by putting our buildings in the way
of the planes they stole. This of course would lend credence to their families
civil suits against their flight instructors for not having taught them to fly better.
The biggest problem is apathy but no one seems to care.
