I'm getting wet. Just testing to see if the radar loop will stay still or move across the country. This might be a cool Welcome 2 TFF (live radar) Thinking, Talking, Testing.

I think its moving, like thunder rolling through the mountains.

I use the Rainy Days app for my radar usage. Works very well.

I think I'm too old to get it. Are we talking weather radar? If I'm "off the map", please forgive me. As far as weather radar - we are very rural and the city folks don't give a damn about us as long as the storms are over 'rural areas' where nobody really lives. Except us.

Funny thing - when you live out like we do, you learn quickly to keep aware of the sky conditions. We went to visit my wife's sister down near Durango a few years back. My brother in law and I were sitting out back while we had a grill cooking dinner. I looked up at the sky and made a comment about how we'd get rain that night. My BIL gave me a puzzled look and said "How do you know that?" I told him to look at the sky and feel the change in the wind. He had no idea what I was talking about. A couple hours later it was raining cats and dogs - after my wife and I high-tailed it back to the hotel in town.

Out here in Colorado another big thing is hail. You can learn to watch for signs of nearing hail storms by watching the color of the clouds. If the clouds have a greenish or turquois color you'd better get the car/truck/tractor under cover because those are sure signs of hail. The darker the color the larger the hail. I've seen hail as large as soft balls out here, and can only pity folks with livestock outside. I've heard stories of back in the old days when men would shoot their horses and crawl under the carcasses for cover.

If you're NOT talking weather radar, please forgive me and disregard the above ramblings.

I clicked on that picture a half a dozen times and got a screen that said "sign in"so I gave upon it. If y'all are discussing weather radars, I use Wunderground radar.
