Just mentioning a new Bill passed the Texas Senate today..and went to the House.

Law would make legal..for any legal Texas to keep his handgun/longarm...locked in his vehicle on employers property...inspite of objections or previous ban. Still of course does not apply to illegal areas...court parking, etc...

You still would not be allowed to carry in company vehicles. Castle law restricts to private owned. This does however, allow for you to carry into work and secure in a ,lock box , if employer provides....

No word yet on carry on campus in Texas by CCH..still on floor was reported....

texans should be allowed free access to carry anywhere anytime without any restrictions at all. in fact everyone should be able to. that is the only true way for the 2nd. "THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED".
