My Lartone Compact Lapidary Tumbler was acting erratic. Turning very slow and jerky. I cleaned the rollers and even tried to rough them up with sandpaper. No help. Then I added a little oil to the bushing at the end of each roller and WALLA! They turn just fine now. First oil on the rollers in 40 years.

Voila' is correct, Viola is an stringed instrument played with a bow, like a larger violin.

I have that same tumbler and had the same experience. Took about the same amount of time, too.

I like WALLA. That’s more American. VIOLA is just too European, but then I do eat my Freedom Fries with mayonnaise.

Yeah, it's pretty modern day un-American to spell a word correctly.

The word you seek is VOILA - with an accent over the A.
Many many years ago. Dennis the Menace Sunday strip. Alice is sick, so Henry is making lunch. Dennis expresses doubt that Henry can cook. So they have three or four frames of Henry cutting stuff up and stirring it in the pan and working hard and he dumps it out on the plate. Then he sets the plate in front of Dennis with a flourish, announcing, "VOILÁ!"

Dennis looks down at the plate and says, "Wallah?? Looks like hash to me".
