I picked up this muzzleloader at a garage sale for $50. I’m trying to figure out it’s age and model. On the right side of the barrel it’s marked “Thompson Center Arms Rochester, New Hampshire Cal 54” and on the left side of the barrel is the serial number “K203571”. From a quick Google search it seems like most of these rifles have the model stamped on the barrel after the caliber. I’m wondering why this one doesn’t? Also, it looks like the “K” before the serial number means it was a kit build. I’ve attached some pictures below. Let me know if you have any info. Thanks!
