Does anyone have any input in regard to the Tikka M77K.
This is a combo gun with a 12 gage and a 22HP (12gX22HP-Savage)
I am thinking of buying one and the price is right. It is gently used with 99% bluing and some VERY minor staining/pitting in the shotgun barrel. The rifle barrel is excellent.

Any and all comments welcome.

Just going by Ken Waters experimentation and articles.
There appears to be a difference in bore diameter between the old Savage rifles and the newer European rifles.
Guess I will have to wait for the rifle and find out for my self.

Plain old 30-30 or 25-35 brass will do. It's a .228 bore, but the heavy .224 60gr-70gr will work just fine for hunting ammo. The lighter stuff, not very well. Up here, there is still a good supply of factory ammo. But I am cheap and I don't want to spend $40 on a box of ammo.
