Here's your chance to let the media know where the people stand on our faith in God, as a nation. NBC is taking a poll on "In God We Trust" to stay on American currency. Please send this to every Christian you know so they can vote on this important subject. Please do it right away, before NBC takes this off their web page.
The Poll is still open so you can vote...

Thanks, Lori! I just voted...here's how it stood:

Should the motto "In God We Trust" be removed from U.S. currency?

Yes. It's a violation of the principle of separation of church and state.
    13%

No. The motto has historical and patriotic significance and does nothing to establish a state religion.
    87%

Might not be enough. Congress has shown it will oppose 85% of the population. Will 87% be the tipping point? Probably not.

Congress doesn't oppose 85% of the population so much as it goes to great effort to support the 15% that give the most money. Regardless of the subject, it's all about the money or getting re-elected.

    Just voted. Still the same.

  11. Yup, same for me as well. I do think sometimes, considering the monetary nature of modern society, that a more appropriate motto might be, "In God We Trust, All Others Pay Cash." :D
