One of my guys wants to trade me a Mec 12 gauge reloader, primers, wads and shot, along with three hard sided pistol cases, for a little quail coop I have. I trashed picked the coop and rebuilt it. I don't really reload shotgun shells, but figured I could sell it or trade it for other gun stuff, like primers of something. What do you think??? Oak

Trading trash for more crap? Sure! If you have the space to store it until you get tired of looking at it.

Not a trade I would consider.

I'd need more information before saying trade or not.
Which MEC press as there's a bunch of different ones made over the years and values vary.
How many primers and what brand(s)? Online retail for 209 primers starts at about $60 per 1K these days.
How many lbs of shot? Shot size(s)? Least expensive I've been able to find for new shot is right about $60 per 25lb sack.

Compare that to the time and $$ you spent referbing the coop.

One of my neighbors gave me a very old lawn mower.Probably one of the first power mowers. It had a 3 HP Briggs &Stratton engine. I put it for sale just to see if there was any interest. Someone wanted to know if I would trade it for a gun.Traded it for an early Remington 22 pump.Sold the Remington for $300..That was almost like 300 bucks falling out of the sky.
