I have to say he was rather creative with the wooden block. Way too much thought there.

People have no concept of anything. Weight, horsepower, what they vote for. If you look at the pic you will see that this was on an incline. I have a 1 ton F350 to pull these loads. What is on ------ forget it.

That, is an accident LOOKING for a place to happen, as mom used to say.

If I saw that, I'd walk up to the guy and absolutely berate him for being an absolute moron.

This has to be a staged photo. There is no way that what is in that picture is legal in any state. Like graehaven said an accident waiting to happen.

Shall I tell you about the couch I hit on the freeway, going 60 MPH, because the man and his friend who had JUST picked it up at the store, put it in the back of a pickup, with the liftgate down, and NO tie-downs??? I had 3 choices...swerve left and hit someone, swerve right and hit someone, or hit the couch...which, by the way, was wrapped in cardboard and didn't have the appearance of a couch...I had no clue what was in that "box" until I hit it.

Yes...people can be REALLY stupid! But the thought of that guy having to tell his wife where her new couch was, once he got home....that helped me feel a bit better!
