Ok Glocknut im going to ask THE question! Here goes!

Dont get me wrong here, Glocks are great guns but...
Why are you so fascinated about Glocks, and not other handguns like Berettas, HK, Sig Sauer, Colt / 1911s or S&W? what is the appeal about a blocky looking gun?

I guess im just not seeing it...

What's not to like? For one they are reliable. Some people don't like their looks, but i do. Some people don't like their triggers, but i do!

And who says just because i like Glocks that i don't own anything else? Cause y'all know that i do.... :D:D:D:D:D;)

Now, would any of my other Fans/Followers/Deciples like to make a "token post" for me to answer? LOL

Let me say there is nothing whatever wrong with Glocks, or those who choose to own them. Its a matter of taste.

There are those with good taste, and then there are Glock owners. Its not complicated or difficult to understand.

Revolvers are just impossible to beat, autos are fine and I own a couple of 1911's but if you can't get it done, under normal conditions, in six shots the other nine or so isn't going to help you that much. Just my two cents.
I am still a wheel gun man.

High five Ron! I have had an auto jam on me numerous times (springfeild XD subcompact) and a revolver only once! How can a revolver jam you ask? we were shooting hot loads and the primer blew out on one of the rounds and a small piece of metal swung out and lodged its self in the firing pin hole... thus not being able to pull the trigger because the cylinder would not rotate to fire the next round.

Its hard for me to say which one i like better the S&W 686 in .357 a 1911 colt or the H&K USP. I wold carry any one of these and be confident in my ability to use it!

  10. Right, Tranter, just as there are those enlightened and intelligent folks who understand and appreciate the innovative genius of the Glock pistol, and those more simple and backward souls who prefer the obsolete pistol designs of a century ago. :D;):p

Glock is the benchmark for all modern automatic pistols just as the 1911 was for pistols in its time. Glocks are median priced, durable and reliable. They go off when you pull the trigger and if you do your part they will hit what you are shooting at.

Ole glocknut knows that a Glock is hard to beat.

I thouoght you were in Jail? I didn't read the post, but I thought the title said "Glock Nut shoot bear, and goes to jail?:D

  13. Well said and quite correct, Jackson! :D

Another factor: With a Glock one does not have to spend twice the price of the gun in order to get the pistol to shoot more or less downrange. :D;)

Tranter, you're a man after my own heart. Cars should run on gas, beer should be dark, baseball bats should be wood, people should be free, and handguns should be steel. It's the natural order of things...
