the wife and I have been moving for the last week now. I went under the new house to run some cable for the Internet and things started goin wrong. One I am not a small guy and the crawl space is very tight, two i live in Tennessee and in the country to boot so needless to say I went armed. After squeezing my fat hide into a small hole I proceeded to wiggle my way under the house. I was making good progress til I ran into the wildlife under my home. I have a .22 Revelation wheelgun I cary for up close tight work and it is loaded with both ratshot and stingers. Any way momma coon and two babies were under there enjoying the heat and momma was not at all pleased to see me. I fired ito the dirt right in front of her tryin to scare her and the babies out. Fist shot seemet to infuriate her and she lunged at me. Being only about 10 feet away I wasnt about to get into hand to hand combat with a big ole momma coon in a small crawlspace. Shot muber two was rat shot and shot 3 was a stinger. the stinger went through her head and punctured the PVC drain pipe for the toilet. Not fun, I wonder if I can just put a patch over it or do I have to replace the pipe?

If it is a straight length of pipe that you shot, buy a Fernco coupling (which is a clamp on coupling), then cut out just enough of the pipe to get the Fernco slid on, with enough engagement on both sides to clamp the coupling on.

Probably not real clear, but it should be when you see the coupling.

    Good luck

TCoggins got that right if it's a straight run. Fernco fittings are great!
if you're working with a joint or an elbow of some sort... good luck.
cut out as little as possible and make your new connections.
it's fairly easy working with pvc.
cut, deburr, primer, and cement. make sure you make the joint quick.... if you've never worked with pvc before...
    it bonds in seconds!
    good luck!
and congrats on the new home :)
sorry ya had ta kill your new neighbor.

Get the epoxy putty sold for emergency boat repairs. It will do the job and last forever.

Did you get the cable for the internet ran?

Guess you will have to find the access hole, and block it off now.
Don't want the younguns to come back.

Are you talking a .22 inch hole? Sewer isn't "pressure", so just make a patch, nobody will ever know it happened. ;)

Congrats on the new house! :)
