US appeals court denies bid to resurrect Bundy standoff case

    The Bundy's (the old man) owes well over a million dollars in unpaid grazing fees. The BLM didn't shoot his cattle and bury them either. Bundy is no American patriot like he acts like. He's a leach on the American taxpayer. Ranching welfare is what it's called usually, in Bundy's case it's just theft.

    The significance of the Bundy standoff is that the government backed down in the face of an overwhelming civilian armed response. They could have just as easily escalated to a military response. Whether or not the Bundy family was justified is not necessarily relevant to that narrative. The big question is what would have happened if Obama and Holder had ordered the military to step in.
