Help identifying a us revolver co top break automatic 5 shoot revolver ss# is 5018 like to know what caliber and how old it is

Your revolver was made in 1910 and is chambered in .38S&W.
It was designed for use with black powder ammunition.
The U.S. Revolver Co. line came about as a way for Iver Johnson to use up remaining parts from their 2nd Model Safety Automatic revolvers after they introduced the 3rd Model SA which was designed for smokeless ammunition.
If you're looking for parts (I see the barrel latch and grips are missing), you'll want them from a large frame revolver.
