My father recently gave to me a S&W model 915 he bought new maybe 15 - 20 years ago. The gun has never been fired and is still in the box. I have gotten the impression that these were not the most popular gun S&W ever made, but I am wondering what the value would be in this condition as I might get sell it. I see them selling used on gun auctions for maybe $225 - $250. Any comments would be appreciated. I have attached shots of the box and the pistol still in the paper.
