I have been a fan of the Nikon Pro-staff scopes for my rifles for years. Nikon quit making scopes this year. I have been looking for a go-to scope since. I may have found it.

Vortex Crossfire 4x12. $168 at Cabelas. I put it on my Ruger 10-22 and it is clear and the parallax looks great. Full lifetime warranty.

Looks kind of big on my 10-22. It will probably end up on my Ruger Rimfire but the scope on the 10-22 went bad on me. The cold winter weather we had was not good for my Simmons scopes. Both of them lost zero and no longer adjust. I sent one back and will see if the other adjusts when it warmer out.

I've heard nothing but good things about Vortex. Funny thing, I've been thinking of putting that same scope on MsMads 10-22.

I've got the Vortex 4-12 x 50 AO Crossfire II on my .224 Valkyrie. I should be ashamed to say this, but I haven't sighted it in yet and it's been well over a year. I put the laser on it and got it close, but have been too lazy to take it out to shoot. The glass looks clear though. I like the Vortex red dots, but this is the first time I've tried a magnified scope from them.

I have a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12X44. To be honest, I do not remember which gun I have it on. I just went down to look in the safe to see which gun but didn't quickly see it, so it must be on one of the ARs that I have in rifle cases in a closet. I do remember thinking how much I liked it when I sighted it it.

I always hear good things about the Vortex, yours will do good at 200 yards with your 10/22 as well.

An awful lot of people whom I respect, have nothing but good things to say about Vortex.

Several being former Ranger Weapons Specialists (Buddies of mine) now working in Gun stores, who have been saying an "Excellent Scope, one of the best."

I forgot about it when I posted earlier, but I also have one of those "tiny" Vortex Venom red dot sights on my Ruger57 and I absolutely love that thing!

Have 2 Vortex scopes,love them....sent back 2 red dots son and I absolutely destroyed over 2yrs,sent detailed letter explaining our training(oops,bad word to some)practicing was as real world as we could make it......they sent back 2 new ones and email thanking us for testing them....the dots still worked. My Viper is comparable to much more expensive scopes.

I had a crossfire but it wouldn't hold zero. Sent it back and they upgraded me to a Diamondback in exchange. I have nothing but good things to say about them, their warranty, and the their glass.

I will take it to the range tomorrow. I have it mounted and bore-sighted. So far without firing it I like it a lot but the range is the true test.

I have 3 vortex scopes and ordered a 4th Friday for an upcoming build. I have a crossfire II 4-12x40 on my 222 , crossfire II 4-12x50 on my 240 Gibbs, a copperhead 4-12x44 on my 458 win mag and I ordered a crossfire II 4-12x44.

I was at the range setting it up yesterday. I was very lucky 2 guys were there that are competition shooters and one was setting up his scope. He was doing one-hole hits at 50 yards. He just got his new rifle and scope this week. There is no way my scope and Ruger 10-22 can compete with their $5000 rifle and scope setups. One of the guys let me pull the trigger on his rifle. It's a one-ounce trigger. You just touch and it fires.

The rifle stands they use cost over $750. I learned a lot from these guys. My intention is to get as good as I can with my gear not to compete with these guys. With their help, I set up this scope and get good groups for me. The Vortex scope works very well. I would recommend it to anyone. I like it better than my Nikon Prostaff.

I have a Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50 - haven't shot with it yet, still waiting on Wyoming as a whole to thaw out. But I'm VERY happy with it just going off the glass and overall construction of it. My only gripe is that all but their Razor line are made in China. And that's mainly for political reasons - otherwise, as much as I love buying American, we're not the only country that makes high-quality stuff.

At least I could peel off that "Made in China" sticker. 😁

I have a couple of them, I like really like them, thay are a good value for the price. I have a 2x7x32mm on my Marlin 922m 22 mag and a 4x12x44mm on a Marlin 881 22lr. I have another 4x12x44mm spare sitting on the shelf waiting patiently for a gun to be purchased. Couldnt pass it up on sale for $105, Just another one of the many reasons that I can justify in my mind a reason to buy another gun.
