Went shooting the vz-24 for the first time. The rear sight starts at 300 meters. It is indeed spot on at 300 meters, Shooting anything less is guess work at best. Need direction on how to proceed. 1. Best estimate when shooting shorter. Czech elevation? 2. Build up front blade taller?
All ideas welcome. Thanks!

Take a bead directly on the center of the bullseye. See how much your shots are above that point. Aim that much lower.

the angle isnt enough to matter unless youre shooting way out. Do like jim said and aim as low as it hits high when you aim center.

Thanks for the help. Couldn't really get an idea on groups guessing.
The blade is built up 1mm. Zero is at 100 meters. The 300 meter mark on the rear sight is equal to 100 meters and so on.

good luck. I know milsurps can be a PITA, but it shoulde be more than 6 inches difference you have to hold low.

Not so much a PITA, just a challange to solve some of the problems. Just need to remember things like the 100 yard zero here even though the ladder starts at 300. Doing this on a budget makes it interesting.
