I was making my daily morning run to Wallyworld to see if any ammo had been delivered. Almost nothing in the case except for shotgun shells AND thirty boxes of Winchester .556 at $9.97. The clerks didnt even know what they were for. My Ar is chambered for 5.56 so I bought the lot of them. You just never know what you will find.

Yep, you sure don't. My local Wal-mart actually had some .223 Rem in stock Friday. they also had several boxes of 357 Sig, a lot of .30-06, some .30-30, and shotgun ammo. Not much beyond that though.

I just last week found four boxes of Remington .308 150grn Core-Lokt JHP at my local Walmart for $18.97 a box and bought all four. They also had three boxes of 50ct .223 55grn fmj (Winchester, I think) for 24.95 each. I bought those as well.

Even if the loads aren't great, I probably will be left with some quality brass.

I guess you've gotta' get 'em when you can, eh? ;)
