I have the opertunity to purchase a Walther P-38 "E" series.
Serial # 020571E
Mfg. 1964
Extremely High Blue finish
Looks to be almost new inside and out.
I find the :E" series was a special commercial model meant for the American market to be sold for around six hundred dollars in 1964, but failed to brilng them to market because of the high number of war models being imported
The gun has no imported markings.
Can any one give me some idea of its value?
