I have been given a small pistol and wish to know what it's value is and who I should contact to help me
sell such piece. I have done a little investigating on the net and it said it was made from 1914 to 1918 if I remember correctly and it further stated that subject gun is considered
a collectors piece. The gun is stamped "The Infallible" and the condition I would state is good to very good. To me it is butt ugly as I have the Gold Cups, Walther PPK's and Pythons. I have no interest in this piece and would like to sell it and buy more fishing gear. I did see one listed on an auction and the price was $950 but not sure if that was asking or sold price and that one didn't appear to be as nice as this one.
soundguy....even though probably everyone is at least subconsciously aware of what you said in your last sentence the profound truth of it didn't really hit until I read it. I don't believe I ever actually thought of it but it is glaringly obvious.

Buddy of mine owns a pawn shop. Every time a bond movie comes out, he sells walthers out.
Ww2 movies, same deal, milsurps move.. etc.
Weve seen it for years do that. Don't matter almost what movie, but if it features a gun or guns prominently, and has a strong lead, the gun starts selling...
Welcome to TFF Gunraptor!
I dont know from nothing but the 31st ed. Blue book says:
60% $90
70% $100
80% $125
90% $150
95% $ 250
98% $350
100% $450
Up to you to decide what % it is in your own mind. Other minds may vary.
I'd just keep it as it isnt going to get you much fishing equipment, unless you buy Walmart stuff. GO SHIMANO!
