I really don't like the idea of people being armed at a place of worship either, but I don't like the idea of being a sitting duck if mean people decide to cause harm to worshippers. We have several armed people In all our services as well as some on golf carts roaming the church campus. Just can't be too careful these days.

We run around 25 on a Sunday.
Six that I KNOW are armed, probably more that DON'T talk about it -

I agree with you, but this is a changing world where we as infidels now have to protect ourselves, from the Islamic radicals and unfortunately from the insanity of our own kind who feel that solving their problems,... is with guns.
