It looks like someone put some measurements on there after leaving the factory.
I see the .617 and 74 but I’m not sure on the marks after the 74.
Perhaps a gun smith measured the choke and those last marks are his signature?
Is this a 20 ga?

Some research shows that it probably means that William J. Nittler back-bored this 20 gauge Model 12 from a nominal .651" (20 ga.) to .671" in 1974?
