I have this Remington model 12 22 pump action rifle, despite hours of scouring the internet I cant find anything about the shapes on the left side of the barrel. If what I'm reading is correct, I believe it was manufactured in May of 1920. Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken. I've attached a few pictures, please disregard my Winchester on top(no, I don't store them like that they were just placed there while moving the gun cabinet), just so happens to be the only picture I have on my computer and I'm far too interested in the debates about to take place to go take a current photo lol. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

According to the Remington barrel codes, K would be the month of May. The barrel codes, however, don't start until the year of 1921, so I don't see where you're getting May of 1920.

There is a serial number list for the model 12, but it starts in January of 1930 with the number 66366.

There appears to be no record of the guns made before that 66000 number.

Interesting, my serial number begins with 667. Any ideas on the star and scalene(I think,it's been a minute since I took geometry) triangle on the barrel?

This is a photograph of the original factory records. Model 12 from January of 1930 to January of 1936.

As for the star and triangle - no clue.

Heck Alpo if it stumped you I definitely have no clue but would venture to say "Klingon".
