Put the finishing touches on that Pratt & Whitney single lead rifling machine, got a .40 caliber barrel blank prepped & set up in it and managed to get it cut to about half the desired depth of groove. Got too late to finish cutting to full depth so I'll find out tomorrow how well she performs.

Took the Ruger scope base off the No.1 so I could install the EGW base. New base does not clear the receiver. I'm not sure if it's the wrong one or if I just need to file it to fit. Anybody else run into this?

Set the LNL AP back up after tear down. Load d 75 rounds 40 cal. Went fairly smooth. The shell plate would not rotate fully on occasion.

I picked up my Colt dragoon repro and looked at it for a minute. Does that count?

Finally found a 7-round mag with finger extention for a Sig P938 at a LGS. Loaded it with the new Novx copper polymer ARX rounds. 124 +P HST in the extra magazine.

I've always been an old school hollow point guy, but these new ARX rounds are impressive, imho.

I went looking for a toaster oven at bed bath and beyond and Walmart. I settled for a 6 slice oven by Hamilton Beach. I know you guys are wondering what this has to do with firearms nothing really, but I am going to learn to bake. I am going to use it in the garage for baking my powder coated bullets in 45/70.

Verify your part number here: http://egwguns.com/
They have a phone number page as well as submit your question page here: http://www.egwguns.com/contact-us
If questions, they gave good service when I was looking for a couple of bases.

I have sent my question to them but because of the weekend I have not heard back yet.
I filed the vertical surface that should drop right in front of the receiver. It was definitely catching on the receiver. It goes down to the barrel now but it still bows a little when I tighten the screws.
