Among my father's bring-backs was a Walther PPK. It's not military issue evidenced by the lack of Waffen proof, but it does have a mark left side behind the trigger that many pics on the internet lack. Same as the one pictured. Any info appreciated!

Is it the same image stamp that this gun has? (Less the alpha numeric part)

Yes, the eagle carrying the swastika with a C to the right. If you click the image I posted, it will zoom in.

I can't get it to zoom close enough to tell--but are you SURE that's
    a swastika?

"The police acceptance mark is similar to the Army mark but the swastika was replaced by a cross and sub-letter C, F, L, or K."

I'm NOT sure it's a swastika. I'm at camp (where I keep most of my guns) and I don't have a magnifying glass here. Even two pair of reading glasses doesn't make it big enough to see o_O

Ok, so it is a cross (X) in the circle along with the letter C. So police issue then?

When you click the picture it zooms in clear.
That sure does look like a swastika, not a cross or X.
