I have a hard time finding a jag/patch combination that works.

Thanks, at .24 cents a per round I am buying all that my shooting budget will allow.

Sacrifice a years worth of boolits (cost) and invest in reloading you own. Half the cost, another hobby, and eventually you can shoot twice as many. :)

So today I picked up my aunts fathers shotgun. It's a Brno side by side shotgun, chambered in 12 ga. Pictures & more info in this thread:
    https://www.thefirearmsforum.com/threads/brno-side-by-side.174119/

I also got the chance to get his pellet gun. And the best part: It was for free ;)
Then I went to another authority and had the shotgun registered on my gun licence. After that I quickly dropped by the local gun store to pick up some cleaning supplys for the shotgun to get rid of the lead leftovers in the barrel (Metal&Cloth brush). I noticed that they sold .22 ammo pretty cheap, so I also picked up a brick .22 for 38.50€/44.50$.

What brand? That looks like a great price.

I bought a brick of Gecko for @ £5/50 rounds, or 55.77 € or $64.88 for the brick from my LGS. They overcharge, but I want to see them stay in business so I am willing to pay more because I don't have much choice. There are alternatives, but they are an hour or two away and what I save in ammo and supplies I lose in time and fuel.

FYI, PSA has AR-10 's (.308) on sale, complete rifles, for $699.00.
Good thing I'm going out of town tomorrow, I might be tempted!
