bought a used 700 Remington in 308 win, has a muzzle break. I have to get a scope for it and load up some 165 sierra game kings then get out to the range.

Not the best picture but, I picked up my Mossberg Patriot .270 Win today. Scope will come in the next week or two. Need to clean and oil it before putting it away. Only $302 even out the door including tax.

Also got a $40 Sportsmans Warehouse Gift Card ( which means $40 dollars off my next $150 purchase)

I can't get to the range as much as I'd like, to satisfy my "1911 itch."

I've been looking at CO2 1911s for a couple of years now, but none seemed

"correct" enough for my taste. Finally I decided to give the TANFOGLIO a try.

Got this in the mail yesterday.

    DSC06942.JPG

    I am delighted!

Dimensionally identical to my two G.I. style Norincos, but just a bit lighter in weight.

Function and controls are also identical. Everything works just like a "real" 1911.

So I just went out to the garage and rattled off a few BBs into a cardboard box and

was very impressed. Has more punch than my tired old Webley Hurricane, while not

being terribly noisy. Slide recoils and it feels like firing an ACE 22 conversion!

See you guys later - I'm going back out to the garage!!!

Guarantee it doesn't have more punch than the Webley when she was new. Had a Webley Tempest, that was a fine accurate air pistol. Finally wore her out, took over 30 years.
That's a cool garage understudy for a 1911. Dang now I need to get another air pistol......thanks:p:cool:

I had an extra leather "backing" when i decided to try their neoprene one. I few weeks back, when I got myself a Shield, I bought a shell for it one evening and it was here two days later. The only thing I didn't care for is that they don't include those little metal grommets with the shells.

I just picked up a Marlin 60 22lr. My brother in law had one when we were kids back in the dark ages. Always liked it. My wife has taken control of my Ruger 10-22 so I needed a semi auto.

I got a delay on the background check so who knows when I can get it. The last 3 guns I have bought were delayed.

I went ahead and ordered an extra hardware pack to go with it, added a while $6 to the order, but not a big deal in the grand scheme of comfort in carrying

I should have known it didn't come with any, but didn't think of it until I got the shell.
