EEK another scary black riffle!
OMG! I hope it doesn't have an evil assault bayonet lug , those are used to kill people you know, it makes the gun more deadly! I hope it also doesn't have a muzzle break. That lets you fire the gun invisibly. Bad enough that the 30 round mags make them fire faster. The black plastic furniture makes them invisible to xray!
Well I done went and did it now... Got our income taxes this morning, paying off all outstanding bills, I just ordered a Redding T7 turret press. $289 from Brownells. Pics will follow when it gets here. (I'm kind of excited!)
Last year Mac made several of us buy the USCCA insurance (help you stay out of jail and help in a lawsuit if you end up protecting yourself w/ your gun LEGALLY). I got the silver at $150. My renewal came up so I am set for another year. On the main page it mentions gold, platinum, and elite only https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/membership/ but I have the silver. I called and I get my silver at the same price as last year. So if you are new to them, ask for the silver unless you want the more expensive plans.
Mac, this Mak or another Mak?
I'm very happy with USCCA insurance, and thankfully have not had to use them.
Cabela's Xtreme Shotgun Case

Interior: 55"L x 3"W x 7.7"H
My new Remington 1100 Competition Trap didn't fit in any of my gun cases. It fits in this one. $60 at Cabela's. I still have an inch or 2 left.
Sorry Mak. I go to the other Mac every morning.
I'm thankfull you brought up uscca. It does provide a sense of relief and definetly worth the cost and the hope of never needing it.
Drymag, I ain't going to ask about the "I go to the other Mac every morning" To each their own. I won't judge.
I sure asked for that!
You’re gonna love that press! I have one and use it for load work ups and lower than my Dillon 550b quantity. Good price! Plus, if you ever tire of it you can return it to Brownells.
700ea 95gr .356", 380ACP bullets, and a membership in Gun Owners of America.
Went to the local Wally world, wife was buying clothes, and I'm not having around for that disaster! So I took my daughter with me and started prowling the sporting goods.
Been wanting a mag loader for some time now. Finally broke down and bought one.
I purchased 2,200 rounds of Federal Bulk .22 LR Ammo from Wal Mart.
This is the 36 grain copper washed hollow point stuff,,,
It's been incredibly reliable in all my semi-auto handguns.
When I saw the bulk packs back on the shelf,,,
I was surprised that they had only gone up $3.00.
So, in the spirit of always having ammo on hand,,,
I picked up 4 packs to beef up my stock.
I'll be happy when I have 20 packs on my shelves again,,,
I had 20 packs purchased when the 2nd Obama shortage happened,,,
That got me through his last term and then some so I'll stock up the shelves again.
I ordered a Star BM.
I already have two Star pistols that I bought new many years ago. So I expect the quality to be consistent with the ones I already have.
It's a cute little 1911ish pistol chambered in 9mm. Not a true 1911 by any stretch of the imagination, but looks similar in style. I'm hoping it will make for a fun plinking gun.
I am having 100 rounds of .30 M1 Carbine ammunition with stripper clips, packing, in a olive drab bandolier delivered today.
