Well be that way then.
Yesterday - Browning 1911-22.
Picked up my new Rossi R98 .22 LR revolver from my LGS this afternoon. Wife and I went to the range, my first time shooting it of course, and her first time shooting the S&W model 65LS Lady Smith I gave her Saturday. Had a ball. Two happy folks.

i'm in the land of gun control and some of my posts here have ended up in the lefty media
but i'll give ya a hint
it was a Armoury Auction In Singapore 19 nations clearing our captured confiscated stored etc etc gun's and gun stuff
Yup a UN gun sale ...
no give away from me this month sorry , i'm hunting to eat eh
i went a bit silly .. but should turn a good buck
a pallet of springfields sold to hong kong in trade rights deals with the documents ( yep!)
never used but poorly stored it sold for just under $600 US there was no bids for 2 mins til some guy bid $100 AUD and it ended up at 550 euro's
some real finds eh .. 400 years of guns in the region all for sale
its a UN on who's guns are here too
and the mausers 7 variants in one place
excuse the camera phone pics
WOW! Now that is cool! Thanks.
if this thread was ever a contest, looks like you take the cake Jack!
oh hold on , this was pre sale inspection pic's that a agent sneaked online no camera's where supposed to be allowed ( UN Rules)
i did buy some , but only a few and most where passed in offers as many lots where 1-10 pallet loads , i aint in that end of the game , happy with the scraps
and i'll offer a dealer a double up on his buy for a the few i want , and a few say ok as it saves em shipping ..
i wont say how many i bought but no where near a pallet all will fit the 2'x2' x6' steel chests i have just for such things , to comply with all the rules etc
i will say i bought some nice Mosin's and Mausers Chi Com and Chang Khi Shek (sp?) and Siamese, could not afford the tibetan ones $900 a pop buying lots of 20 at a time .. too rich for me eh ..
a lot of SKS's went off the day after ( they ran it by period i did not buy any semi's or auto's , cant .. ) the folks in canada got a heap marstar , so i know they wholesale to others in the US
$35,900 was the winning bid for New never issued SKS's 250 mixed Chicom Yogo and romanian , sorted buy quality ..
there where 4 and a bit pallets n of new
16 of good
29 of average
cheapys and parts went for $15-20 K a pallet
i dont have a trade permit for hand guns ( cant afford the insurance and all the hooplah ) so could not partake in that part of the auction but they publish a results for the catalouge , i'll have that in the next month or so
bit one thing for sure i'll say as i'll be flogging it to the USA is a 30-06 belt loader ( hand cranked )
wont even come here , gent from arizona will get it to help repay a kindness and i know he wont say no to this
It is sad to see that pallet of old rifles in that condition.
yes it is but a few will be taken real good care of and brought back to life over the next year or so
Picked up an AR15 in .223 yesterday from my LGS. Got it on a trade deal I worked out with the gunsmith there for one of my RC helicopters. The gun comes with a muzzel break, connection points for a sling, quad rail, carry handle with picatinny rail on top, laser, a 6 x 30 scope, iron sights, dust cover, slide assist, adjustable stock, one 20 round mag and two 30 round mags. Shoots great. Plan to get a .22 LR conversion kit for it as well so I can shoot it more often.  :AR15firing:
primers, projectiles and powder.
I purchased a Heritage .22mag/.22lr revolver yesterday also with a box of CCI .22 MAG High Velocity ammo. The gun is real accurate.
Picked up a couple of soft pistol bags.
