For work I carry a turbo knife box knife that slides out the front it is he best for cutting the wrap around pallets and if that's not in my pocket my cheap Leatherman c33 I can't tell you how many times that bottle opener has come in handy!
This sucks...I lost my daily carry knife that's been with me over ten years. It was not horribly expensive, about $40, but it held a razor-sharp edge and was comfortable to carry clipped to my pocket in jeans or dress pants for work.
Need to shop for a new daily carry knife. Maybe Santa will bring one.
Any suggestions in the $40 to $80 range that meet the criteris mentioned above?
just lost my old winchester curved folder, and got a new winchester straight blade. doesn't thumb open near as easy.. but is a metal body with wood furniture, instead of plastic composite body of the old one. wasn't a fan of the plastic.. but it was light and flipped open easy. still getting used to this new one.. though it is razor shapr and has a nice clip on it.
I haven't chimed in on this till now, but I'd like to know why folks are so curious about other peoples business? Just being nosy, or looking for advise, or what? Seems a bit rude to me.
Ive got 2 119s one new and one from the 60s or so, also one of the 120s from the 60s or so. Certainly one of my favorite fixed blade knives of all time, Ive got plenty of KBars and Ontarios, cold steel and others but I love the Buck fixed blade knives so much.

Oh late one night I was watching the Science channel the "How they make it" type show, they showed how they made the Leatherman knives, wow what an operation!
No little old man sitting at a bench...just big presses, robots galore quite an operation!
The humans did some blade stacking, QC, that kind of stuff.
I feel the same way soundguy. What are we supposed to discuss here, favorite ice cream flavors? Sorry Jim I had to throw that in. I carry a little Zippo lockblade. It is lightweight and razor sharp.
Sheesh, I totally agree. If a person does not like a certain thread, or if they think it is rude then they should skip it. It is up to the mods on what is and isn't appectable. It's not like anyone is twisting their arm to read any perticular thread..
