I'm sure we all have a knife we use for odd chores such as opening mail and packages and what have you (box cutters... eewwww ).
Currently I have my paperstone Buck 112 Ranger Ecolite performing that task. It received some mixed reviews when it came out, not sure why as I think its a great knife and the workmanship on mine was perfect. It's also what I usually take along when I go fishing as its pretty light and the nice nylon sheath it came with won't be bothered if I take an accidental splash.
Got a Buck 112ODS6 on the way in the mail, will let you guys know what I think of it.
    Let's see yours...

I bought this a few weeks ago when I lost my everyday carry knife. It's a S&W rescue knife. About $20 at Cabela's.

I keep mine in my pocket so it is always at the ready.
I can't keep high priced knives so I carry a sharp cheap knife I bought at Walmart for $3 lol

In my desk lives a very battered old M1917 Bolo in it's scabbard.

I have two on my chairside table. First is a Boker Scout Knife, made in China but works well.
Second is a Chinese-made Rough Rider 1541 Route 66 edition, a two blade Trapper. The RR is razor sharp, tight with excellent "walk&talk". Saves my higher quality knives from wear and tear.

As I live on a Queen's colony there is no such thing as an EDC knife here (or anything else that could be considered a weapon [which is open to interpretation by police]) unless you want to go to prison. The only way you can get away with carrying a knife legally is while fishing or hunting.
    But anyway, that's dif topic.

Good point, I have a few too and there's at least one knife on each.
Let's say the desk you spent most of your free desk time on which in my case is where I have my computer.

    LOL good one

As with smoke, mine resides in my pocket.

howlin', I have a Schrade just like that. The clip blade is so thin from skinnin' 'coons, rats, beaver, coyotes, squirrels and rabbits you could use it for a pick. I retired it probably 15 years ago and it's living a cush life in the drawer with all my other knives, cheap, free and expensive.

The only desk I have is the one with my desktop computer on it. I have about half a dozen knives and three guns on it.

Wow. I have been carrying a pocket knife since I was 10 years old. I use mine all day long. I can't even imagine not having a knife on me.

Carry a different one every day. May be stretching it a bit calling some of them a knife lol.
