Says H. Dorwal Chief on it. As shown in the photos. It is a .410 bore shotgun that I bought from an old lady about 12 years ago for $80. There is something written/engraved into the wood on one side. Tried to get a picture of it but it is tough to see in person, even harder in photos. Only fires 2.5" shells. 3" jam in it and won't eject so I stopped using them pretty quick.

Sadly, those cracks in the woodwork really drive down the value from whatever it would be. I don't know enough about old shotguns to be able to help you but I'm sure someone else here does.

You don't see many old single barrel German shotguns, the US manufactures pretty well had that market nailed down. However scarce doesn't mean gold in this case."
With that broken stock I would think the value would be less than what you paid for it.
