Being relatively new here, I'd like to get a feel for what y'all do.

I sell industrial plumbing supplies (pipe, valves, fittings, etc.), along with regular stuff.

    What do you do?

I do electrical design, programming and troubleshooting for automated machine systems. I think I'm technically called an Automation Engineer but those who work on the equipment I design might have other titles for me... :D

On voluntary activities I like shooting, working on cars and drag racing, growing numerous varieties of Japanese Maples, politics with a particular emphasis in monetary and tax issues and I'm a full-time father of a 2-year old. :)

Student. Have worked primarily in concrete, anywhere from in building materials to quality control. Have also worked temp jobs on and off, and recently I sell my blood plasma to make a living :D.

Just applied for a position with Gonzaga University though (will be graduating in June) to work in their office with foreign exchange students. <- I am a dual major, International Studies and also History.

Seriously: for pay, I proofread legal docs. For grins, I sing, quilt, write...teach a bit...

You've been a member for sixteen months, and this is your ninth post.

With that wit, you should post more often - we could use a laugh!!

I have worked at a ton of things, the last twenty as an electro-mechanical design engineer. I blew the whistle on illegal activity, and mine was the next position eliminated in their downsizing, strictly co-incidence of course.

I am retired from income-producing jobs, but continue to be a full time pastor of Bethany Church, where I have preached for the last 23 years.

Hobbies are nature, guns, science, and creation/evolution issues, discussed in a CIVIL manner at Talk About Origins

I don't watch much TV. Like the old N/A said; "I have seen it."
I do enjoy the Repo Man on reality, though. I have done some repo work at one point, and it is NOTHING like this hilarious show!

  11. I like to think my forte is fine whiskey, excellent weapons, and wild wild women . . . but then, I'm rather self-delusional, or so my wife of 32 years has said from time to time. :D;)

Actually, I'm a college teacher Bob, mostly history and philosophy.

Started life as a Pharmacist (drug forte); segued into building materials (acoustic and thermal forte); later segued into credit reporting (know all about ya forte); finally back as a co-owner of an insulation distribution business (of course, the new home market went completely in the tank 6 months after I opened in '06) ( makes me a "bad-timing forte).

All in all I have thouroughly enjoyed every position I have held in a multiple corporation career.
