I experimented with 300 freshly cast 158 gr SWC today with el Cheapo Harbor Freight Red and PBTB Blue.
I wanted it just enough color to tell my 38 spl loads from the 357 mag rounds (Blue pill to the right of last picture).

I thought it would blend more, and be purple, but , no luck, speckled! [IMG] No worries, I can tell the difference from a quick visual when I open an ammo box of 100 rds of 38 spl vs .357 mag.

    Those look real nice Mak

Last night I finished trimming 500 pieces of FC no dot 223. Then I ran 100 through my RCBS prep center and did the Lyman flash hole uniforming. Tonight I'll drop and trickle Varget then carefully seat some Sierra Match Kings. This should hold m over for the first couple weeks of competition

Sized those 300 powder coated 158 gr SWC after work today.
I'm out of primers, powder, but I have lots of brass components! :)
Guess I need to hit the LGS for more bang stuff....

Supply and demand. Plenty of supply, so store shelves are only 25 min away. :D

Do you have enough scope minute w/o a 20 minute base if shooting 1000 yards or better?

Hitting Sportco (It's like Costco, but all sporting goods) on Sat for 5 lbs of powder (BLC-2, Titegroup, W760) and 5000 primers.
My 38 spl brass should be here today or tomorrow so that will keep me busy for 2 hrs.
Then I have to finish up the last of my .223 62 gr rounds, that will keep me busy another 2 hrs.

Then I'll have to go expend some ammunition. I have over 10,000 rds in various calibers and no more components after the .223 and 38 spl is done!

3 day week-end and I ain't going anywhere except the range and Starfire Sports complex to watch my son compete in the WA State All Star game.

Nice. Are you going to run it thru a break in process or just shoot it?
