I picked up a Winchester Ranger 120, 12 guage and it has a modifed choke with it.
Its the type that you just use your fingers on and don't need a choke tube wrench.

I went out looking for a full choke for it and the only Winchester chokes I saw were the type that requires a tool

can you tell me what type of choke I have and what other chokes will work?

More than likely, your barrel is threaded for the standard Winchester Winchoke thread, which is the same as the Browning Invector. That particular thread is also used by Mossberg and several other makers too.
BUT...it might also be an aftermarket choke setup that was installed after the gun was built too.

Unscrew the choke tube and see if there are any markings on it. That's about the only way to positively ID what thread system is in your barrel.

Regardless of the choke tube system, most of them are available with flush tubes, extended knurled tubes, or even muzzle brake style tubes. So that's not a good ID feature.
