I am wanting a shotgun and found a mint condition Winchester 1300 for sale. I don't know much about shotguns. He wants 299.00 for it, is that a good price or not. I have no idea how old it is, it's a 12ga. camo pattern stock and pump and it looks like there has never had a round through it.

Serial number will tell how old it is. 300 isnt bad for one.

I have one in 20ga and it was around $230-250, so $300 for 12ga isn't bad.

I agree. 300 isn't bad for a 1300 speedpump. You cant hardly get a Mossberg for that anymore. and the Rem870s are going for around 350-400 new nowadays.

Gone are the days of the quality 200 dollar shotguns..
