I shoot a Winchester 1885 (made in 1903) with custom heavy barrel and Unertl 12x scope. When I look thru the scope and get the eye relief so the sight picture fills up the entire scope, I see two vertical crosshair and two horizonal crosshair. By pulling the gun slightly to the left, I can get the crosshairs more or less correct (one going each way) but the sight picture is slightly off center. Being 68 years old, I can't tell if the problem is the scope or my eyes. I asked a kid to look thru the scope and he did not report any problem. I wear shooting glasses that allow me to focus on the front sight of an unscoped rifle but the problem remains if I remove the shooting glasses or even if I wear my regular everyday glasses.

Any suggestions?

Nice rifle and scope, very nice!

I would try adjusting the Ocular lens (the part that you look into). Loosen the lock nut and move it forward or back until the crosshair is in focus and correct. Lock the nut back down.
