I have recently acquired a very nice Winchester Flashlight Unit Cell No. 1511 (which looks like an ancient D cell battery). It is marked on the side "For Best Results Put Into Use Before APR. 1944" ...otherwise I would have had no idea exactly how old it is. It is in excellent shape for a 65 yr old battery, and very strangely has no corrosion or rust. It really is in good shape.

Any idea what it is worth?

I would guess it might be worth ten bucks or so to an avid Winchester collector. Fortunately, if it hasn't corroded badly up until now, it probably never will.
