I have an opportunity to buy a winchester model 77 tube feed .22 LR in good condition. the walnut stock has a couple light dents about 1" long each. they are very light, almost as if only in the finish. it's dirty and haven't shot it. as I understand it, it hasn't been shot for over 20 years. it has a weaver marksman 3/4"-4x scope on it.

this might make a nice gift for my son since he gave his Norinco JW15 to his cousin for Christmas

Sounds like a nice find. You should try and trade it out through labor.
that's the plan. it's from the same lady that had the old Remington 700. tonight I unfroze her washer fluid reservoir. the Mom of the lady I did a timing belt and water pump on a 95 accord on saturday. she also has a belgian A5 12g

Check it out and make sure it is in working condition.
I have one in the shop and it is not feeding because of the throat and carrier and the throat is not available at any of the parts places I work with.
I am looking for one I might find one but this tells me parts for this gun are in short supply and it will only get worse.
