In your opinion Jack, which style do you think works best as to a multi caliber suppressor? reason I ask is I am "concidering" doing a multi caliber on a form 1 once my NFA trust is approved. Yes I know I have to pay the $200 tax just as I did on the I am waiting on them to approve the NFA trust it is listed in. I want to build a 50 cal suppressor and then make the adapters to adapt it to other calibers. I am leaning towards the K-Baffle style but welcome opinions, actually am seeking opinions especially pro and cons to teh K-Baffle design.
i am no expert on silencers at all , sorry mate
i had a ingram mac with a full sionics kit , nylon slide and stuff
i played with a suppressed owen gun in .45 cal ( honest something Lithgow had in their museum )
played with the delisle and the welrod , both of which where in the armoury here
they have em in NZ with some towns stating you MUST use them if shooting rabbits within the town limits
but no i'm just investigating them for myself , we have a motion to allow them to not distress park uses who may hear gun shots during feral animal control operations
but i played with silencers more while playing tourist in the US and Russia ( more in russia) than all the time here ..
if multi cal? replaceable wipes?
I like #8's use of those bells with the bells changing their curve with each step. Steeper ones collecting the fastest moving gases, then the more angled domes collecting the slower moving gases.
Very nice pic! I love these things. (No big surprise considering my user name.) Too bad I'm in SoCal. The steps for me getting one is just too agonizing.
Cant own suppressors, DD or SBR in my state of Iowa. I have alkways been jealous of thoes that can.
