I see a lot of problems with that pistol. The theory seems workable even though there is no real use for the pistol. It relies on identical ignition and recoil. This is impossible even under laboratory conditions. Therefore pistol will tear itself apart. The round count can’t be calculated. I would depend solely on the uniformity of ammo. Duel machine guns and automatic cannons are two separate guns. They don’t share anything except a mount. So one has no influence over the other.

I made a 4 bore barrel for that guy. Big mistake, I had another half a dozen orders for them, I told the boss the tooling wasn't made for 4140 steel this is going to ruin the tooling. But she took the orders anyway and $1500 dollars and a six month wait later for a new reamer, she figured out why we don't make 4 bores for anything but muzzle loading rifles that can be made from mild steel instead of chrome moly steel.
