For those who haven't heard...the owner of Fosters Bighorn in Rio Vista, Ca is selling the entire collection. If you haven't visited...and taken your kids, grandkids, friends, and everyone you know...you may want to see it before it's gone forever.
We will never see the likes of it again.

A world famous restaurant that was founded by a big game hunter and bootlegger. He hung all of his trophy animals on the walls. When we went there to eat we always wanted to sit at the table under the elephant's head.

Indeed. That ivory weighs 110 Lbs...per tusk. Possible (very rarely) in the 50's and 60's...but true Unicorn status as we speak...unless you are a trust fund kid...or own a hedge fund.

To me the Giraffe mount looks out of place. ;)Didn't think people hunted them. I wonder what makes one a trophy over another? A longer neck? Or those 2 horns on top of their head?:rolleyes:
