Is anyone using Hi-Viz type sights on a handgun?

I'm thinking of something like this for my new XD...

In all honesty, I'm not really a big fan of 3 dot sights at all but I think this would be the best option that I could find.

I haven't changed the sights on my XD yet but when I do I think I am gonna go with some Suresites

I like the Hi Vis front with a standard rear sight.
