I’ve recently started looking for a magazine fed, bullpup, pump action 12g shotgun. I’ve found a view from some companies I’ve never heard of. Are there any decent ones out there that people recommend or is this just some gimmick.

I am not "into" shotguns, but a friend bought some sort of bullpup style shotgun that was magazine fed last year. He brought it over to show me and while it was cute, it didn't do much for me. I do not remember who made it, but I am going to say it might have been a Siaga. Kel-Tec makes some bullpup style 12ga shotguns but they are not fed by detachable magazines. Again, they are cute but don't do a thing for me.

It's the box magazine fed part that has me drawing a blank.

Just curious, how set are you on that part?

The reason I ask is the new S&W 12 has twin tubes like the KSG, and can stow 20 minishells. I think 14 2 3/4 shells. It's said by S&W to run the minishells just dandy. It looks like a pretty nice bullpup. Think of the KSG as being an "everyman" shotgun and the S&W as being at least one step up. A step up in price too.

I recently bought a KS7 with the hope that it would handle minishells. Keltec doesn't claim that it will and users have found it to be hit or miss. Mine missed once so no minishells for it. I'm working on building my own. But right now it's low priority. I instead I'm loading 85 grain 300BLK @ 2300fps in an AR handgun for HD. I'll revisit the 2" 12 ga eventually.

Well this is just a fun toy I'm trying to add to the collection. There are plenty of mag fed bullpup shotguns out there, the pump action part is what I'm having a hard time finding.

I laughed when someone showed me the Garsan(sp???) they just bought, complete NG to firearms,we went out back and went through 100rds-first 10 were hinky, then it started running like a clock. We were shooting 7.5birdshot loads,at 30ft,a 5 rd mag went into a 24" circle completely,repeatedly.....I'm not into shotguns but I was impressed how smooth and fast it was, did'nt try slugs, maybe next time.

I got tired on waiting for a Mossberg 590 Retrograde ordered over a year ago!!! Yup back ordered and I refused to get scalped. DO NOT TRY TO BY-PASS OUR AUTO-CENSOR AGAIN. A close friend who owns an indoor range showed me a RIA VRBP100 Bullpup 12 gauge, shoots 3" and 2-3/4" rounds. It's an Austrian Import and I found out it actually got Best Shotgun Award by National Rifle Magazine for 2020. Bought it early this year. I ended up buying 2 extra 10 round mags for it. Took some time getting use to it but already ran about 75 rounds thru it and had no issues at all. Yes I know its no Remington or Mossberg, etc but it good enough in my book, I do like it and she kicks like a mule!! Armscor International, Inc
