I was working at a gentlemen's house today, I'm guessing in his early to mid 80s. We got talking about guns and he asked me if I was into reloading. Yeah. He took me down to his basement and showed me his reloading room. Very nice set up. He asked me if I want anything he had, since he doesn't reload anymore and has no kids. I saw all his powders and asked if he would sell me some unique. He offered it all to me for 50 bucks. I told him what it was selling for, but he said it didn't matter, as long as it was going to good use. I got five full cans and one half can. I gave him 100 bucks and told him I would be back when he is ready to sell any guns. He had some primers, but not much and nothing I needed. Oakie

That powder on the left is definitely old, you can tell by the canister and the price of $16.98 a pound.
I’ve got some older powder myself. Some of these cans now are becoming collectible, I traded some old powder cans for powder a while back, they wanted them for display at their shop. View attachment 323958
I have a can of unique like those on the left. I also have a 2400 1 pound and a 4 pound like those, and a red dot 4 pound that doesn't even have a pouring spout, the whole tome slides off. Plus I have some reloader 21.

You make some great friends. Looks like he has been reloading for a few years!!

That should keep you going for a while. Great score.
