So, yesterday, I had to go to the LGS to get a part to put my AR-15 back together. while I was there I saw a sweet looking Remington 7400, chambered in 30-06. I asked to see it, and if he'd take a trade for an AR-10. He said he would, and LSS, I now have a 30-06, which is a chambering that has been missing from my collection for the last 7-8 years. Scoped the barrel to check out the rifling, and is very nice. Some copper and carbon fouling, but rifling in very good shape. He offered my an additional $100, which I said I'd take in store credit, ensuring I'll be back to do business. He liked that. We both think we did ok on this one.
