Hello to all and thank you for allowing me to join. My question is: As I get older, I am unable to pull the slide on most semi-automatic pistols, and the trigger pull can also be too strong on some revolvers. I am interested in acquiring a S&W 357 Magnum Model 19 Moss NIL. There are no dealers near me. Where can I find info regarding the trigger pull on this pistol?

I don't know where to find the actual weight but it's usually a range instead of a fixed weight. SA is probably 3lbs +/- and DA 12lbs +/-. That particular revolver is a Performance Center offering so it may have a nicer and lighter pull.

S&W revolvers are capable of lighter pulls, some work is owner friendly but other work requires disassembly to install lighter weight springs.

Your local shooting range may have K-frame owners that will let you handle and test fire their revolver.

Are you sure you want a carry gun with a port? At night, that flash can be blinding. Otherwise, looks good. Love a K frame trigger. Especially one that has gotten smooth with age or been worked on. I can't think of a finer revolver to learn double action shooting with. Make sure the individual gun you buy has the barrel installed straight. I don't know if S&W has fixed that issue yet. Some are and some aren't. Best to examine one closely before buying or ordering one on line. Look at where the barrel meets the frame and make sure it is centered there. Not like in this photo.
