Can't seem to find an answer to this one.. What is a "pre-warning" ruger revolver? what is the "warning" & is there a difference before & after??? Thanks much!!!

Guns made before 1978 when they put the "read warnings in instruction manual before using gun" on the barrel.
You are probably talking about the printing on the barrel of some Ruger guns that reads something like "Before Gun Use, Please Read Warning - Instruction Manual Available" At least that is what my 10/22 made in 2004 says.

What they said...I'm surprised Ruger did'nt try to put the whole owners manual on them...Really destroys the feng shui....
