I have a Ranch Products demooner. Works great, and is only about five bucks.

But I think Ranch is out of business. At least on a quick search just now I could not find anyone selling that, and Ranch's website just has one page.

Then there is something like this.

That's currently $12 on Amazon with $5 shipping. I made one of those out of a 4"- long half inch pipe nipple. They are not difficult to make.

Now if you are talking about one of those fancy machines that will both click the cartridges into the clip and then take them out again - I've never used one. Like you said - they're expensive. I've always just pushed them in with my hands. I saw a picture of somebody loading a moon clip using a pair of channel lock pliers, but I have not tried that yet.
I have a lot of hand pain and will likely spend the money so I will be able to easily load and unload the moon clips. Wasn’t trying to go fancy but could use a good demooner once I find a good product and company.

Well ya see I just state WRONG?? or have had some claim caliber is "WEAK" or "SHORT and WEAK" or the .45acp is slow as all get out ya know in 50+ years of shooting not one of those spineless, weak ignorant turds have been willing to step out in front of said Wrong, Weak, Short and Weak or slow weapon or calibers to prove it, so somethings gotta be right huh???

If you have hand pain, this might be easier,

Pricey, but effective.

I use water pump pliers to load two cartridges at a time into the full moon clips. The 1/2 tubing works to unclip the empties but so does a metal ammunition can. Hook the empty in the corner and pull.
