Ok, I thought this might be fun to explore. I've been around long enough to have read quite a few books and seen even more movies but can never wrap my head around some of the things that pop up in film or literature.
I have to wonder if the writers of some movies either have no clue or have no choice over what's portrayed on screen. I've also read many books that suffer from the same problem.
I say Hollywood style because movies are made all over the world and at some point, someone decides that shooting a scene a certain way just makes for better drama!
For example, the constant shotgun or handgun racking... you know, to show your serious. Sometimes I think the sound guy gets paid by the rack. š¤£
I have tons of other peeves but you get the idea.
Anyway, let's hear about it. What are some of the Hollywood style silliness that you've observed in, otherwise, decent movies or books... and wish would stop!
