I'm kicking myself for not doing more before purchase, someone posted on RF facebook page back in Jan that it's a scam.

The RF page also stated that they're in Tennessee.

Found some very suspicious websites that people should be careful.

I just filed a transaction dispute with my credit card bank, not sure what else I could do.

My big question is how do you know or prove that it's a scam website? The website still exists but they won't answer after you pay. This is my first time buying firearms online, so I don't know which stores are well known or legit. It does have an address but it was like for a warehouse. No, I didn't know the website registrant contact is from a foreign country.
Basically, the key is just a lot of online research. Check with the BBB, look for mentions on various forums and/or do a whois check on the website to see who owns it and where they're located. Whois will also tell you how long the site has been registered. If it's fairly new, it could likely be a scam.

My mistake was not doing my due diligence before hand. As it turns out, the bank will do nothing since I authorized the purchase so I'm out the $63 I spent. Live and learn.

Bluestreet: Domain owner hidden "Redacted for privacy"
Their payment methods are all cash equivalents and even when they accept PayPal its is "Family and Friends." so yes they are a scam.

Almost the same with outstandingammunition but they are stupid enough to give their contact phone numbers. They are in Iceland.

Well, Willie - I contacted my bank about the Rrloadunlimited scam, they contacted GooglePay - GooglePay said 'they would review the case' about 2 weeks ago.... My bank told me that they would credit my purchase price back to my account - pending Google Pay's decision.

Today Google Pay sent me a notice that they would NOT reverse the payment to Reloadunlimted.

Bottom line: Reloadunlimited was CLEARLY a scam. SO IS GooglePay. Don't EVER use either. Tell everyone you know about what I have told you. I'm not crazy about 'PayPal' - but with THEM at least if you get ripped off they will stand with you. Not so Google Pay - you get ripped off thru them and your butt is in the breeze.

They will back you if you don't pay via the "friends and family". If you do that all bets are off.

It really comes down to the point that if a business is going to have an online store they should accept the major credit cards. It is a hassle and they charge the seller for accepting them. But it how a legit company does business.

Royal Firearms accepts papyal, at least it shows up on their payment page, however, it won't work. According to their explanation, paypal doesn't like anything with firearms. Is this true or lame excuse?
That part is true. PayPal is a bunch of crying Liberals who don't like guns. As soon as they figure out that a website has anything to do with firearms, they cut them off for violating their policies.

A lot of credit card payment apps are following suit. Square is one of them.

I recently bought some bullets from a commercial caster in my state and paid through Pay Pal.

The transaction went through but afterwards my pay pal account had some issues and I was having trouble transferring money from my bank to Pay Pal and it seems now any payments I receive will not be accepted into my Pay Pal account and need to go directly to my bank.

The casters' business name had the word 'bullets' in it so I assumed that had something to do with it.

WilliB, Where is the Reload Unlimited located? Did you get your money back? I am in a similar situation, I ordered some SPPs from a website in NV, it takes credit cards through GlobalPay payment which doesn't work well,so the store sent you a link to make payment and what bothers me is that there is no store name associated with the payment. It has been more than a week since I made the purchase, I
haven't yet received the shipment notice and the store ignores all my inquiries. I'm afraid that this is a scam as well. Am I being not patient? I'd rather use paypal but the store said paypal doesn't like firearms sale.
Has anyone here used Onlineammunitionsupplies ? If not please be aware they are a Scam. I went to them from a referral I received and ordered 1000 rounds of ammunition from them. Should have been suspicious when the only form of payment they took was PayPal Friends and Family (No Refunds). Ordered in good faith then cam extra charges which were to be refunded(Yeah right). Promise of next day delivery. Never got my ammo they got my money. Wanted to let everyone know so they don't get scammed as I did. Expensive lesson but one not forgotten.

I always do some digging for people who have bought from an online shop in the past. Reddit is a gold mine for this.

I have never failed to find enough testimony from previous purchasers to tell me whether a shop is legit or not.

People are more than willing to report that they got ripped off. OR that an outfit did them right.

It's a bummer when you find what looks to be a fantastic deal only to also find a bunch of guys talking about their experience being scammed by that site.

I feel for you, but I will not buy from a place that will not accept the "normal" methods of payment or who have started their business in the past two years. If the long standing companies can't get ammo, how is it that these upstart companies can?

Unfortunately I did not ask the right questions and paid the price for that. I just want to ensure that if anyone else comes across this site they are warned not to buy into the BS.

SPAM REMOVED is a new to me store recommended for my purchase of bulk ammo. I was skeptic at first but was assured by a fellow shooter that they were legit. Bought 500 rounds of 100gr .380acp. Fair price might want to check them out. It did take over 14 days to get it but they do warn you on their website.

I may still try to go back through the bank and see about getting the charges reversed. Depends on whether or not the bank will charge me.
I had to charge back a hospital that credited my payment to someone elses account. I even had the proof, but they refused to listen to me. Went to the bank and got the whole $1000 back. My bank didn't charge me anything.

honorammosho. is another website to be aware of. A friend of mine was looking for some .243 ammo and came across this website, but they only sold everything in 500 round bulk orders. He didn’t want that much so he didn’t order any.

I took a look at the site, and it seemed everything was in stock, red flag #1, then the prices were circa 2019, red flag #2, they even had primers and any powder in stock at 2019 prices, red flag #3, so I looked at the payment options, Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or bitcoin, Red Flag #4, phone number started with a +1, no American companies list their phone numbers like that, Red Flag #5, then to top it off, the address they listed in Colorado, when I looked it up on google maps, it came up with a run down trashy business listed as “Zombie Electronics “, not a gun range as they described. Red Flag #6.

Needless to say this site is a scam, and I told my friend to steer clear of it. Got to do your homework these days.
